ScreenAnnotator is a Menu Bar application. It runs in the background and does not show an icon in your Dock. Look for the small pencil icon in the top-right of your screen.
We use Accessibility permissions strictly to detect the global hotkey (Cmd+Opt+A) even when you are using other apps. We do not read or store your keystrokes.
Open the Settings window from the toolbar (gear icon) and look for the Quit option, or simply quit via Activity Monitor if needed.
